Default 06 Deluxe bars

I know this has been asked in the past, but I have not seen much of a response. Yes, I did search. I need my bars about 2 inches closer to the seat. They're just a tad far and I have to stretch a little. It's fine for short trips, but my commute is about 60 miles and it get tough toward the end. Someone mentioned the reach seat, but that only puts you 1/2 inch closer to the bars. I would prefer new bars to extended risers. Any new ideas out there?

Thanks!

Wife had a similar problem, We ended up switching the riser and bars to Stock Heritage bars and Riser. Had to change cables, so that was an excuse to go braided. brought the bars back nicely, and a tad closer together too.

Parts were about 400.00, but it was worth it to get wife riding more.

Take a look at the Carlini freeway bars. TM has a set on his bike, they are probably just what you're after and I just ordered a set for mine.

Whilst I do like to buy Australian whenever possible I must say that the deal was too good to pass up. The bars were about 1/2 the price and I got the shipping chucked in for nothing because they are coming with my wheels and a bunch of other stuff. As long as the money stays within "our group" I can deal with the fact I went outside our own country.

Bring back the ol' days when everything in the house and garage was made in Australia !!! Ain't it funny how nobody seems to notice that the decline of our country began with importing 3rd world products and people! Made in the USA or Europeor Canadais ok by me !
