yeah, Im thinking to maybe bend something up using aluminum plate.

I think a lot of that is going to be from the seat you choose. There are several varieties, the Crossbones, the '0l H-D tractor seat, and even the aftermarket. Each one is built (padded) differently which may change the "feel" of the seat.

I have a cover that I used on my 93 FX Softail that I believe I got from V-Twin.
I actually still have the entire setup.

The main difference is the Pogo gives a more stable feel. With springs you’ll feel like you are wobbling from side to side.

thanks for the replys, Yes I have a tractor type seat that ive had for awhile.
I've felt the side to side wobble too . I don't like it much. Im going to seriously consider the v twin pogo setup and try to fabricate a cover for a 00 softail.
