Powdercoater

RE: Powdercoater
I paid 150.00 for lowers and handlebars. Last year I decided to purchase a Craftsman powdercoating gun on sale for about 100 bucks, bought a used oven for 45 bucks and I get my powdercoat online from Caswell. I have done numerouse parts on my 07 Night train and I gotta say to my surprise, they have all came out very nice. Its all seems to bein the preparation of your part. Im not saying you should start out on your tank or fenders, but expierment on smaller things around the garage ie: tow hitches, scrap metal etc. its actually rewarding when you do it yourself and see it on your scooter, not to mention it has saved me hundreds. NOTE DONT USE THE OVEN YOUR WIFE COOKS YOUR DINNER IN.
