Custom Fat Boy project almost complete
My latest Harley project, number 8 project, near completion. This started off as a 2004 Harley Davidson Fat Boy. Only things original are the engine and the frame. Added; Klock Werks custom fenders, custom paint, custom wheels, 21” up front, full chrome lowers, chromed out hand controls, fat beach bars, chrome mini mirrors, le pera gel solo seat, Bad Dad console, braided lines, flush mount gas caps, full stage one engine upgrade, staggered dual custom pipes, chrome crash bar, lots of extra chrome, side mount plate and light and slammed shocks lowering the whole ride. As usual, I say I’m going to keep it, but if the right offer comes by…….

That's a very nice looking bike. Not my style per say, but I can appreciate what you've done, and it is nice.
Back in the 70's when I played with Triumphs I mounted my turn signals on the axles. Low and tight, but I kept getting pulled over for not having signals, so I'm assuming they were somewhat inconspicuous. You might want to check your state's regulation just incase there are restrictions for height, width etc. I was also looking at your setup and wondered about mounting fronts to the forward front fender mount, and maybe at the bottom of the seat mount, just behind the chrome plate. Just thinking outloud.

Not sure what the regualtions or rules are in Illinois about turn signals. I don't think they are legally required but I may be wrong. I've seen a lot of the mini bullet type lights. I've also seen the LED headlights with a built in turn signal indicator. THat would keep the front clean, but still need something for the rear.

Code:
(625 ILCS 5/12-208)
Code:
(from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 12-208)
Code:
Sec. 12-208.
Code:
Signal lamps and signal devices. (e) Motorcycles and motor-driven cycles need not be equipped with electric turn signals. This is what I could find. Seems like a real risk to run without signals at night.
