I'm so tired of obnoxious guys (never had a woman ask) questioning my bike. I've ran out of explanations, medical or aesthetics, so I guess there really isn't a reason for an idiot.

You can usually tell if someone is looking to start a conversation about bikes, or is just looking to pontificate on their opinion...

If I suspect the latter.... I'd just say, "personal preference."

If they questioned it anymore, I'd say, "I did it for me, not for you..."

It would go downhill from there if they persisted in needing an answer..... I've lost all patience with rude, obnoxious people...

 

As far as I am concerned I find it a very comfortable mix, they operate with a scissors like action in unison with the suspension and with the right bars give a much more traditional riding position. And if they didn’t get it i would follow with who gives a Sh!@ what you 🤔

 

Dude, just say what I did whenever some squid would ask a dumbass question about something I did to my shovel. " Because I f**king wanted to is why... "

Works wonders trust me.

 

My answer for any questions about Reaper's aesthetics is always: "Because I like it.". No "justification" is needed If they try to push, I tell them to get their own bike to do with as they please.
