Default What's a good bike cover ?

It's starting to get pretty cold here in Pa. so I'll have to park the bike for a while. The bike cover I have isn't long enough to cover my Fatboy. Besides Harley, who sells a good breathable cover ?

I've been pokin' around myself and found an ad in American Iron Magazine for Exigent Bike Covers. Looks like good stuff and about 1/2 the cost of MoCo covers. I haven't got one yet but I'm lookin' -n- thinkin'.....

As said, anything that breaths should be good.

In addition to the cover, I've heard a handfull of other preps. A pan of kitty litter under the bike to prevent moisture buildup, hanging bags of moisture absorbtion material all over your bike, parking bike over a composite of visqueen, plywood, cardboard, and carpet...

I finally decided to pay the $$$ and store mine at the dealer (heated) and now I can park my truck in the garage for a couple months, too.

I checked Exigent out and they have some nice covers. E-bay doesn't have any bargains in there right now but I'm going to look around for another week or so. I have a notion to go to Surdyke and get the Harley logo cover and some new chrome on the same shipment. Surdyke sells the breathable cover for $64.36 - that's $15.00 under the catalog price.
