Question Tank badge compatibility

I'm planning on repainting my 2005 Heritage Softail Classic and wanted to go from a decal to a tank badge. Would this tank badge (not really sure what year it's from, possibly from 2011) fit my tank?

Any help would be appreciated... Thanks!

It is flexible and will conform to the curve of your tank, so yes.

I can't understand why they would be two different part numbers.

One is curved on the Harley end, the other is curved on the Davidson end to fit the tank.

Ok, got it. Sure looks like it would be flexible enough that it could be used on either side.

In some cases they are side specific by design. Take a close look at the angle of the trailing edge. Top is LH, bottom is RH.

I get that some are side specific. When I looked up the set that the OP listed they look identical.

I have a friend who has an Evo Heritage that he repainted a few years ago and he put a Street Glide tank badge on it. It looks pretty darn good.
