I had the 1.5 Street Bars before I put the Freeway bars on and while they looked good they were uncomfortable as hell on longer rides. Not enough rise and your basically bent at the waist and there is no way to get comfortable on longer rides. I guess it all depends on the type of riding your planing on doing. The Street Bars and Lowdowns have basically the same rise and pull back.

Hey TM, how goes it? So what is the riding position like with the freeway bars on? I have mine hear but will be another 2 weeks before I have them on I reckon. Got all my other bits on the way too so will send you some pics when done.

DeanO

PS: Did u find out if you can put your bike up for BOTM again yet? It looks heaps different now IMHO so I reckon you should be able to.

Thanks. I'm just thinking of switching it up a bit. Never saw these bars before until I ran into this thread. I think they would look cool, but would really be interested in seeing them on a couple of other Fatty's before I make my decision.

OK, guys. I'll be the guinea pig. I just ordered them (and some new bushings). Should be here in a week. Now I need to order some lines, wiring and new grips.

I don't have the lowdowns but the slickbacks... they are about the same, a little higher though!...... Check em out.
