Actually, I'm looking for a link for his triple pole light switch. The wiring isn't difficult, but getting a switch like he described would be awesome!!

Is the switch a DPDT or a SPDT ?
Also are those 2 connectors in the headlight housing,
or do I have to take apart the front of the bike ?
Need more information, please

Single pole, but there'd be three connections to choose from, so would that be a triple throw?
Sorry for my lack of knowledge here...

The switch he is referring to would be a DPDT switch. ON / OFF / ON. Since thre is two different sources for the power it will have four connections for the wires (two circuits)

its a common item at any of the discount auto houses like advance or pep boys for about 6 bucks

Ooh... I musta misunderstood the description then.

I'm actually looking for a switch that has three positions, none of them being OFF.
1) low beams w/out modulating spot lights
2) low beams w/ modulating spot lights
3) hi beams w/out modulating spot lights

Why couldn't you just pick up an additional circuit(power) from the high beam circuit? The passing lamps might blink a bit when switching, but they should stay on?

OK, I know, don't know what I'm talking about, lol.

not sure about them, but I'm talking about making three settings, not just the two we have on the stock switch.

2006 Hertiage Softail Classic

I'd like to know if there is another light with more candle power to replace the stock headlight.

chuck, are yours 50w? You could investigate the 100w hi-output bulbs. Though be warned, I hear their heat output is so high that some consideration should be put towards it; ventilation for instance.

My stock candescents are only 35w I believe, I need to at least move onto halogen.
