V&H straight shots correct baffles?
hey folks! last season i purchased and installed a pair of V&H straight shots on my 03 heritage and followed up with the V,&H air intake V02 cage fighter! the bike so far runs great and is loud as hell.
so here is my current situation the mufflers came standard baffles almost an empty pipe apart from a few turned up ridges of steel inside and besides the performance and decibels the thing sounds more of an angry obnoxious barking popping sound. I'm curious about the possibility of the best inserts for a more muffled deep base tone without compromising the volume and *** kicking angry dragon tone too much? any ideas or experiences that can be shared is always greatly appreciated and considered! thanks for reading and be safe everyone!

You have the standard cheese grater baffles in right now. I had them in Reaper's Straight Shots. I took them out and installed a set of DK Custom Thunder Torque Inserts (TTI-158), and they deepened the tone, and got rid of the off-idle torque drop the standard baffles/no baffles have. So, better sound AND improved performance. Can't recommend them enough.
This isn't the greatest vid, but I did a quick comparison video here:
Cheers!
