Sound from TC88b
Does anybodys engine have a sound like a roller bearing spinning. I'm getting this sound from my engine,
the dealer thought it was one of the front balancing shaft bearings. They were good about it and changed
both front and rear bearings but I still hear this sound. Not as bad as it used to be at idle, this noise did not
appear untill I had just under 4000 miles on it. I can hear it good over the sound of my pipes when going
down the road ( v&h stright shots w/h ).
Thanks Steve

RE: Sound from TC88b
Check the primary chain. You may also need cam chain tensioners - usually you need to replace them around 20,000 miles. You can only look at one through the inspection cover - there are 4 total. You have to disassemble quite a bit of stuff to inspect the other ones - I changed over to gear drive - eliminates the chain and gives you 5-10 HP.
