Clutch adjustment - jam nut difficult to remove
#11
It worked! Didn’t have an offset wrench but this breaker bar did the trick with a ninja chop.
Now ... backed out the jam nut and adjusted the Allen screw with a 1/2 turn backed out once I felt some tension.
2 questions...1) when it’s time to lock down the jam nut will a ninja chop do the trick? I suspect this jam nut doesn’t need too much torque.
2) when I tightened up my clutch cable I noticed that I had more cable slack to remove. Not a lot but enough for me to see a little more thread
is this normal?
thanks!!!
