Default Michelin Commander II Tires?

Has anyone had any experience with Michelin Commander II tires on Heritage? Mine is a 2004 model and will need tires in several thousand miles and the Michelin tires looked interesting. I am a serious rider not just a bar hopper. Thanks in advance for any advice.

There are probably 4,215 posts on the Commander 2s.

The 3s are an improved tire by Michrlin. The ride smoother, and are supposed to have better life and rain behsviour.

Each to his own. I swear by the Commander II. They perform well, last long, and track great.

I have replaced many Dunlops with them, on many bikes, and it is always an improvement. They track straight, and you don't even know you are on an expansion joint. The Dunlop jumps around too much on them. I have ridden CII in the rain, but mostly I do a lot of aggressive canyon riding, and freeway/highway. Have not tried the III's yet.

I dropped my Heritage off today to have a set of Commander 3’s installed. I’ll report back in a few days how I like them.

I'm sorry about asking questions with so many answers. I just got on this forum and am still trying to find my way around. I'm 74 and not as up to date on computers etc as some of the young guys so bear with me. I have been riding since i was 14. I'm coming off of BMW to Harley and its been a number of years since I have had Harley. This is my 4th Harley. I've always run Dunlops and was just curious about what might be available. Thanks for your patience.

It's all good, welcome to the forum. You have to take most replies with a grain of salt. Alcohol and temperaments sometimes interfere with logic. Most in here mean well. You'll figure it out.
