Deuce lovers rejoice!

Seems like I gravitate towards the models few others like also.
81' Sturgis Wide Glide may be an exception.

Picked up my 85' Softail Christmas Eve of 84' at Cummings HD in Flint MI. Rode it downtown to a friends garage to store.

Replaced the 85' with a 99' X1 Buell and on Christmas eve of 99' , rode this Deuce home from ABC in Pontiac MI.

At the time. Reviews from places like 'CycleWorld' said it was 'the best handling Harley to date'
I also had an 88' FXRS and I would say it WAS JUST slightly better.

Now, for the WIN!

Never through a leg over any 'Road Kings' or "Ultras' They look like a MASSIVE pile of POO to my eyes.
"drink holder, radio, heated butt warmers' :-)

Still can't stop looking at the Triumph Rocket 3 GT.
This LOOKS like a sub 700lb long distance candidate to me.
Could really ride my FXDR for any distances with my 7-up 3-back risers?

Rode almost 4 hours straight and may have kept going if I didn't have to pee.

Hey, do those GEEZER GLIDES have a place to pee yet ? :-)

For you non Bible readers - On the 7th day, God was playing around and created the '07 Heritage Classic.

Age is the determining factor in what i consider the best all around bike lol. When I was a bit younger I could ride my 883 sportster forever...now if ride my wife's iron for the 30 minute ride to work I get off it and think no way I'd do a 300 mile day on that damn thing. So call me a boomer...im not but whatever. Call my road king a geezer glide, I don't care. All I know is I've ridden lots of different types and brands of bikes in my lifetime and the funny thing is that I thought whatever bike I had at the time was the best ever and it was ...for me. If I had the money I'd have several bikes. I'd like a springer again, a low rider with a monster motor, a sportster with a monster motor...just so I could embarrass people lol. I'd add a sport bike to...maybe a new busa if they come out with a new one this year, I had an 01 so to get one 20 years later would be fun. Oh and a sidecar rig...just because they're so damn cool and I think my dog would ride in it. Don't care if it makes me old or isn't fast. Your point of view will likely change...I swore I'd never ride a bike with a big *** windshield and saddle bags, now I wonder how I rode without them lol.
