Default So i am reading the manual online for my softail breakout ...

It doesn't tell me which type of clutch i have, i have a 2017 model year breakout, does mine have cable clutch or hydraulic clutch? Hardly Ableson wont let me read the service manual unless pay them subscription fees

Go buy a real maunal. The downloads are not sanctioned by Harley and are pirated.

If you cant tell if you have a clutch cable maybe the bike is better off in the garage.

Is there a place to put hydraulic fluid like your front brake lever? Or is it just a cable that goes from the clutch lever to the trans? Maybe post a short video or a picture and we can help better?

It appears that all 2017 Softails have this diagram (except the "S" models).
