So, replaced Rectifier and took the bike out. It always starts right up. Took it for a ride. immediately noticed speedometer not working. Blinkers worked. Lights worked. Got a minute down the road and the bike sputters and shuts off. I tried throttling to keep it running but it sputtered out. Started right back up. Took it home and stopped. Bike stayed running. Always, when it starts up, it idles fine. Just the loss during riding. All cables are fine and tight. Battery is fine. It isn't the stator or rectifier. Took ignition/speedometer console off the bike and inspected everything. Looks good.
Anyone else have ideas?
I'll try some wiggling in the console tomorrow. That's about all I got.
