Harley Series "Renegade"
#261
This should help...it can't be that hard. It's not the space shuttle, it's a Harley-Davidson....were not going to the Moon...lol! Hope this helps.
Also...The kit may come with different size threads or even metric threads. Be prepared to go out and find the right hardware. When I mounted my lights directly to the triple trees, I had to use an American Standard threading tool to get the stems to fit my triple tree threads. And use Loctite liberally on the threads or they will vibrate loose. It's fabrication, every step is a new learning process.

HBO max is Americas only, which means the show will struggle to find an international audience easily. Meanwhile Amazon Prime is pretty much universal, so Invincible has a wider audience. HBO Max is coming to Europe in Oct, so there might be a spike in ratings when more people see it, hopefully… fingers crossed.

Here's some more flashbacks of better times, as well as if any new Lorenzo fans have joined this thread since 2019!
During the event, I wanted to watch it be "Reno's bike" for a few hours, like a live episode so to speak, so I stayed far back from the photo shoot area that he took pictures with fans before riding, and the funniest part of the day was how many people actually thought Lorenzo still owned the bike from TV and brought it himself! I even heard one person yell out "Holy crap, how does it still look that good?" lol!

You're getting there... Anyone who says this is an easy project "It's just a Softail with a paint job" hasn't tried it and could not be more wrong. Nice work, keep it up!
Here's a keychain I had custom made...(front and back)

I was a young man, a teenager in fact, when Renegade was on air at the time. I always liked the show! It has action, gun fights, babes, marital arts, motorcycles, car chases. It was very 1990s to say the least. I've recently been rewatching it again on the Peacock streaming service. My son who is 14 soon began watching it too and he's a bit stunned that it was over normal TV stations as we have nothing like this now and probably couldn't ever again. Ah yes, the 1990s were a great time to be a young man. 😁
I'm going to do a Renegade style softail as my next bike. My last Harley was a 2009 Sportster with a 1250 Hammer kit that started life as an 883 bike. A very fun machine. My ex wife took it when she ran off with the Best Man. I'd say I got off easy compared to many men in such a position. 😎
Thanks for sharing your build. It's wild to me that i was googling stuff about the Renegade bike and found this thread as I'm re-watching the series and my son is getting into it the series and motorcycles himself. Just the timing of it all. Very cool 😎
Best wishes to you sir!
