I have the D&D BOARZZILLA with performance baffle, they or more up-swept than FAT CATS but they both will give you MORE H.P. & Tourqe!! And my wife can hear me coming a mile away but I try to stay off the gas coming in my hood but they still get pissed because its a HARLEY, I have TATTOS and they think standing in front yard with a garden hose is living the good life, they are just mad because they arent out riding, I think they would still be pissed if I rode a mo-ped, O.H. WELL, I have tryed not to be loud but not good enough for them, I have lived here 12 years and keep my yard cut and trees trimmed but I will never be as good as them! But you will love the sound they make when you launch from light and go thru gears on high side they make WICKED sound and I have had them 2 years and still look brand new! I totaly dig your pipes, It reminds me of a classic drag car with big fat race headers!

 

So how do you map using these pipes, like the D&D's, RB Racing, etc with a Power Commander?

 

put it on a dyno and adjust the air/fuel ratios at different rpm's

 

So, PegLegs, rule of thumb if can;t find maps to suit your setup, just revert to dyno? How much generally do shops get for dyno'ing a bike?

Let me start with the disclaimors...I'm no expert, just research way too much. Some people look for maps of similar set-ups and try them, but if you can finda good tuner, a dyno tune is great. My local dealer had $300 listed for a dyno tune. In looking for similar maps, you can call the manufacturer of the PCIII or whatever you are using. Fuelmoto does maps and may be able to do one for you. Beyond that, I'm clueless.

 

RBR C-style slash cuts on my train. Peg leg is right about harder to tune. Took the guy that dynoed mine a while. Good results though with a mild 95" build. Fit and finish excellant.

What did you have on prior to the RBR pipe? How do they sound? I have Screaming Eagle slip-ons now, they sound good, but they don't PO the neighborhood, when I leave the house at 5:30 a.m. I want a good sound, but I don't want to shatter windows.

 

the rb's are not quiet by any means. If you idle out they aren't bad but still a bit loud. Got a sound of thier own when you run it thru the gears. They pull hard from the start thru top end. Had Python P-3 slip on before these and they were loud as hell. Also had a distinct sound like no others. Didn't make power untill after 3200. Fat Cats also have thier own sound, real nice too. Went with the RB's for the ground clearance. Hard decision between them and the Fat Cats. I like them both.Bike early on with the Pythons.
