Classic look is in the eye of the beholder. It took me a long time to decide to change out my dual fishtail pipes and go with the Rinehart 2in1. The 2in1 picked up 19HP with the proper dyno tune. the old looks over performance debate. The look has grown on me.

I like the look!!! I don't see any mention of heat shields, any idea how they hold up?

I'm looking for the same thing for my Deluxe. I'm thinking hard about getting some of these http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/lsr21.htm

I like my V&H Pro Pipe. It has enough growl when I need it and purrs on the freeway until I hit the throttle. It has a nice sound all around.

My opinion is there is nothing classic looking about a 2 into1 pipe. Not saying they don't look good, but to me a classic pipe is more like some dual fishtails, drag pipes, maybe some upswept drag pipes or a few others. The 2 into 1seems likemore of a modern design.

They have heat shields. It looks like you can get silver or black ceramic coating or chrome with the availability to mix and match. I may go all chrome or black pipe with chrome heat shields.

It took me a few hours to read all of the data on their website including their complaints about customers. I get the feeling that customer service is at an all time low with these folks. I'm going to but their product anyway and hope not to need follow on customer service.

I appreciate all the information, I spent an hour or so this morning reading too. http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/lsr21.htm

I actually called and talked to the customer support. I just had questions aboutgetting the ride model "B" vs "C" and cost(pipes + heat shields + gaskets= BIG$$$$) It's almost twice the price of what a new set of V&H Pro HS 2into1. I understand you making the choice to go with them, I'm just not sure yet. As far is customer service, I got straight through to a real person and they answered all my question, that's a good start.

Oh and I asked about the "waiting list". I was told it is not 3 months, maybe 4 weeks from the time of the order.

Good luck post pictures once you get them installed.

good news about the wait and customer service.
I haven't looked yet, but I doubt anyone would have a canned map for this pipe which would add the cost of dyno tuning to the total price.
