Default Best Battery recommendation for HD 2015 Heritage Classic

Hi,
Can anybody recommend a good replacement battery? Also is this battery easy to replace or is it a project. I know its under the seat but is it readily accessible? I have the original battery with no real issues but it is 5 years old and thinking of replacing it. Bike has low mileage on it also.
Thanks!

As far as replacement. Remove seat. Remove negative and positive connections and pull her up. Reverse for installation

As far as brand is concerned, Yuasa GYZ series, nothing else compares. You will be stunned how much better it starts your bike. You’re welcome.

Throttle X has the best warranty by far than any other. OEM batteries use to be the best. But like everything else it seems, they switched suppliers to save $$$. I had an oem in my 05 sporty that went 11 years.
If I were you, I'd give Throttle X a look.

I second this statement. Along with regular use of a battery tender, it will give you many years of strong performance.

Cheers!

Go to Advanced Auto Part's website and find their 25% off online coupon. Then buy the battery online and go into the store to pick it up. Look at the "born on date" and get the freshest one available. Take it home, make sure it's fully charged before you install it. I put mine on a battery tender.

Remember, there are only 3 battery manufactures in the whole US. Companies just print labels and put them on their batteries and sell them on 'their' own brand name.

Good luck....

While true, Johnson Controls, East Penn, & Exide(who filed for bankruptcy) made most of the lead acid batteries.... Who makes the battery doesn't matter as much as who contracted to have the battery made.. and what battery specs they ordered..

For example... East Penn can make a very good, top shelf battery. East Penn can also make a lower quality, bargain basement battery.... Not all of the batteries that roll out of the East Penn manufacturing plant are of the same quality...

It's the same with any other battery manufacturer...

Look at the top of a Deka battery. There post is solid lead. Everything else uses a nut to hold the cables.
