I agree with you Bass Player. Like I said in my post, the only reason I was using it, was for the "bling" factor. Was just putting out the info to help others

It's obvious that your breather can is not allowing your engine to breathe...

Why is the question... Is it not put together right?... Do you have excessive blow-by that it can't handle...?? Is there some kind of issue with your umbrella valves..?? Could be so many things, or combinations of things...

Since it runs great just with an open hose, that's what I would do...

I messed with little filters at the end of the hose and looked into catch cans for my breather systems. I wanted to catch the few drips that came out of my breather by-pass systems... The filters/cans were all just a pain in the butt....

I decided to just go with an open hose on all three of my bikes. I figure as long as that crap isn't going into the intake/engine, I'm good.. I haven't had a problem...

PS- I just looked at the exploded diagram of the catch can... I didn't realize there was that much "stuff" in there. If you want to keep the catch can, try using it with only one of the many pieces of foam... just a thought...

Weird. I run a catch can with no issues. Something’s plugged up.

Yea.. I'm not going to bother with the Catch can. Not worth the trouble. The bike couldn't run any better the way it is with the tube venting to the atmosphere, and as I said, I don't see any oil drips. Thanks everyone for your inputs

I get it, but the problem makes no sense just by using one.

Are all the holes in the can and dividers open? You can make the holes bigger. It's the foam and mesh that do all the work.

Actually, I emailed DKCustoms, and figured out what the problem was. 1. trying to save money, I bought a very cheap billet style catch can. filled with foam and that was it. the thing just wouldn't let the bike breath properly. 2. After watching the video of DK's catch can, I can see that there is more to it than just a can to catch the oil and blow by, therefore I bit the bullet and bought one of theirs. Should be in in a few days. If you see their video as to how the thing is built, you can appreciate why it's a little more expensive. Will post the results when I install it and use it.
I would like to give a shout out and recommendation to DK Custom for their great customer service. They responded right away when I wrote them, and DID NOT try and sell me anything. They just made some suggestions as to what might be wrong. Kudos to Dwayne. He was great help. Now I just hope that his catch can works.

Just received the New Catch can from DK, and it's obviously a much superior (and Larger) can. Installed but it's raining way too hard to see how it works. Will keep updating and see what happens. Including a couple picture as to how I installed it. Drilled a couple holes as you'll see and running the S tubes directly to the can. Should be good to go.

Drilled holes where the arrow is.
