What's the big deal ?The 07's still ride in a straight line.[sm=biker.gif]

 

actually mine goes to the right a little....and the big deal is that the 07 fatboy has a big ugly MOLE on its nose now...not really good for resale!

and if the 07 and the 08 have different frames, how many other parts are not going to be interchangeable? Do you think aftermarket companies are going to make a piece that fits only 07 bikes and another part that fits 08 and later bikes? NO! They are gonna say, Screw fitting the 07 bikes, they were made only for a year...so yeah, that SUX...

 

I have a 06 SCREMIN EAGLE FAT BOY 103 C.I. but it has the star winder wheels not the full disc. does that matter??!! Also my tire and wheels are front 17" 140/75/17 rear 17" 200/55/17 and I do not see my front tire not centered?! And I can take my hands off of handlebars and lay back on bike and coast up to a light before I have to reach for bars, it tracks like know other bike I ever owned!! I had 05 ANNVERSERY 15th 95 C.I. with the full discs but they where 16'S and the back tirewas all most as wide as my front on my 06!!!!! 05 rear was 150MM, but that bike also tracked O.K but my 06 is still the best I ever rode our owned!!! Now where or the 08's black and copper 110 C.I. SPRINGERS!!!!! LOL just kidding the wife would do a bobbit to me. PURPLE HAZE.

 

Is this problem specific to Fat Boys only, or does it effect other bikes, like my 07 Softail Custom?

Other Harley's over time have had an offset wheel, however this issue is specific to the 2007 Fatboy...

 

What i cant work out is you had a Fatboy as you state .... and if my memory is correct it was the Skulltrain now you have a FLHX and that was then and this is now like 3 years down the line ....2007 .... and this offset thing has been done to death why in 2010 have you chosen to raise the issue when you dont have your Fatboy anymore ?..... i have a 2007 Fatboy and have not even worried or let it concern me ..... Let's call it unique a talking point ..... OH ! bye the way have you seen my bike .... i know , i know , it's beautifull but just check this offset front wheel ... God Damn ! when did that happen ! ... 2007 one year only ......
