Default Counterbalance out of time on 88B

I own a 2002 FLSTS Heritage Springer with about 70,000 miles. I have had a few problems with this engine.

1) I replaced the cams with S&S gear drive at 58,000 miles and I did it with no time to spare...see:

2) While riding in Sturgis last summer I started getting a vibration in my left running board...felt like driving over ripples in the road. The condition got worse but was intermittant. I spoke to an old buddy up north and this condition will come and go but progressively gets worse. Turns out to be the gear that turns the counterbalancers is only pressed on. I'm pulling the engine off this Sunday and splitting the cases. We are planning on tacking the gear onto the flywheel shaft at 3 and 9 o'clock and replacing bearings on the counterbalancers. These counterbalancers run at twice the speed of the flywheel and their are 2.5lbs each. I will be resetting the rev limiter on this engine to 5500 rpms when I get this back together.
