Default Removing heat shields off D&D lowcat

Can anyone give me some pointers on taking these heat shields off for powder coating? I haven't tackled the job yet but I know I will need a swivel handle to get to the hose clamps..Pretty tight spot to work with but I expected that from the jump..My heat shields have taken a beating in the last 3 years but we are talking 30k since 2017. Not too shabby.

I lined mine up so that I could get a socket on them. Or you can use a flathead screwdriver. Get a high-temperature ceramic coating if you can. The factory finish and standard powder coating only lasted me a year (each).

This is good advice. Either use Hi-Temp Powder or Ceramic because regular Powder Coat will discolour where the stand off's are on the heat shields over time.
