Default Lowering the Rear on a 00 Question..

Hi guys,

I am actually getting a lowering kit, the ones that lower up to 2", I was wondering..
Since HD sells the progressive shocks which lower the bike 3/4" without any affect on handling.. would it make sense to mix both the progressive ride and the lowering kit ?

Did anybody try it ?

I was thinking, since HD says it is 'safe' to go 1" lower on the kit and the shocks gives you 3/4" then maybe combined I can get a 'safe' 1,3/4" lowered !

I am 172 and rarely ride with a passenger, but I may need to adjust my riding a bit as I like to lean the bike in twisties hard I LOVE this bike by the way

Regards
