New seat - I FINALLY finished
So it all started several months back, I decided to fatten up the Fatboy back with an Avon 200 using the stock swingarm, stock belt, and stock caliper. Rims courtesy RC Components.
Halfway into the fat tire project I decided to stretch the tank. Not only stretch the tank, but lift the tank also. I made new tank mounting ears and it's lifted a little over 1" in the front and back. The jugs are completely uncovered now. Shot of the seat also. I made the seat, no kidding, on the kitchen table b/c there is no AC in the garage. It is 1.5 oz furniture grade leather with embossed 'snake scales'. I got a few quotes to recover my custom seat pan, the lowest was $700.00. I just couldn't, couldn't see paying someone $700 to do this. (And yes I talked to the guy that everyone uses on here, he didn't want to do it b/c the pan is modified.) It turned out OK I think.
Closeup of my bitchin' stitchin'.
Another shot
And an overall shot of my never-ending project
I have to do the pillion next - but I'm in nooooooo hurry.
If you see this scoot out on the freeway, wave......

RE: New seat - I FINALLY finished
"Is the seat and rear guard finished?...seems to be a big gap between the 2... "? That was a question I asked in a previous thread of yours. There is my answer...You sure did come through with the goods. Well done with the customising! That is one tough looking bike. Great pics as well....
