Pulley bolts and loctite?

Ha guys, when it comes to Manufacturer questions, I always go to the source. In my career, I worked for 3 years with a title on my hat Work Methods. Three years was dedicated to working with Engineering, our Four Machine Shops, and our Supplier Company Engineers. .
This is an answer from Loctite engineer Arif Mehmedovic. Interesting but Arif did not think it was their product. They do have a form in tape.
Hello XXXXXX,
Been a while. If there is a product already on the bolt it will not properly work as whatever that yellow product is on there will create a barrier between the Loctite and bolt.

In my field of research I've many times found that 1+ 1 is not always 2. Often, when you add something it also has another unwanted effect.

Interesting feedback on this topic as it just happen to fall in an area that i finished dealing with myself. I am not an expert and don't have any facts to add except that 2 weeks ago i put the stock 66T pulley back on my bike and the bolts i got had a blue thread locker on them. Yesterday i decided to go back to my 70T pulley cause it allowed me to space my rear wheel better. I have removed pulley bolts with red thread locker and it is work to get them out. To my surprise it was just as much work to get the bolts out with the factory blue thread locker. Both thread locker felt as if the bolts were cemented in place till just about the end of removing them.

Last time my Harley ever saw Dealer service was under a extended warranty. They were in the primary and used new screws in the derby cover. Think they had the white dry coat on them. Glued them in.
Some more info came in on that yellow coating. It is a 3M product. Or someone clone. It actually is a adhesive encapsulated that shears and is released with fastener is screwed in.
Loctite does have 4 grades of it. Theirs is pink to red colors depending on grade.
