Thoughts on the TC vs M8 Softail
#11
I have three twin cams.... none are in stock form.. I have a stage I FX springer, a big bore Heritage, and a 124" crate engine bagger.... All three ride really well, run really well, and look really good....
I have no doubt the M8 runs well, and I have read how well they respond to good engine upgrades (yes, I have the sickness)....
The new softail frame, while it lost it's "hard tail" look, intrigues me with it's mono shock design. I suspect it has a really good ride..
If they somehow had an M8 in a bagger with a redesigned frame/suspension I'd be very curious...
With the backdrop of a few M8 issues it took the MoCo several years to find a band-aide for... I currently have no need for, nor do I have any desire for an M8...
But that's just me...... Everybody has different needs/wants from a motorcycle, everybody has different tastes when it comes to styling and sound, and ride and comfort are very subjective ....
You need to drive both and pick the one that you like the best.....
