Three things I hate about the M8 "Fatboy":
1. The wheels
2. The headlight
3. The rear fender
so if thise are changed, the bike looks like a ... Fatboy. They should have changed the name of the new bike to something like Fattoy or Toyboy...

well, we all have an opinion and an a.. hole.

"Fatboy" in name only. Harley really fuglied the hell out of that model!

They should have renamed it to Fugliboy or something like that.

Cheers!

I like the new Fatboy but agree they should have changed the name and kept building the Fatboy as before. I would call the new model Bruiser or something like that...it has a 170 on the front!!! I would have also put the 117 in it so its further differentiated from the other softail models. But I do agree, they should have left the Fatboy alone as we all know and love it.

having said all of that, the 30th with the blacked out look and bronze trim is very cool looking. I don’t know of any other models in the lineup with that look right now. I think it looks pretty bad @ss.

The bike looks really great , but those oversized tires just suck all the handlings out of the bike .

If I were in the market for a new Fatboy, that anniversary model would be the one I would buy. The blacked out look goes very well with the oversized bulldog look of the bike. The bronze trim is a nice touch as well. A 117 Stage 4 would be bad @ss in that beast. Congratulations on the new ride!

True.....

I think in the process of trying to appeal to younger riders, Harley has created a bit of an identity crisis.

While I applaud them for trying, most of the new models and Dyna conversions look like ***.

The big rims and tires and the weird headlight nacelle completely ruin the iconic Fatboy.

They should stick to what they know and do well instead of trying to be everything to everyone.

It is a nice bike, I thought about trading in my 17 Fatboy S on one, but decided I didn't want to start over modifying again.
