The new Fat Boys do not look like Fat Boys.

Default I really Considered

I thought about trading in my FLSTFBS to get the M8. I've seen they respond really well to cams and as stated you can go bigger and never go home. I just did the 117 on mine and my wife would be super pissed.love the fatboy

Damn that Sic looking. Nothing More Badass than Apes on. FLSTFBS Love the solo Look to. Just makes me want to get the apes and I'm sold on the solo. Nice ride Brother. I putthe TTS-150 in Mine with the 117" kit. Put all the torque at 2000 Rpm and just pulls from there. Totally different Ride now. Its scared me a few times. S&S585's withthe right Compression should really wake her up.

I gotta say it. I'm not in love with the new wheels. Maybe they would grow on me but the first time I seen the Lo and FLSTFBS also just loved the black bullet hole wheels.

I get celebrating the 75th Anniversary in 1978 with special models....

I also get celebrating the 100th Anniversary in 2003 with special models...

Those special anniversary models must have generated interest and revenue.....

It seems that since 2003, there have been dozens of "Anniversary" models being offered.... Seems an anniversary model has become nothing more than a marketing tool. Quite frankly, including the '78 & '03 years, there is nothing really special about the bikes other than paint schemes or chrome/lack of chrome do-dads....

A 30th Anniversary Fat Boy seems like a total stretch to me... both as marketing and a "nothing really special" bike... IMHO...

Thank you Richard Bruce, that is my solo ride! The red Road Glide in the profile pic with the 124" is the family ride!
