Default for the ones that have changed to a 21" front wheel...

I am thinking of changing up the wheels on my Heritage. wanting to go to a solid wheels so I'm looking around at options.
one of the things I have noticed a lot is most are going from a 16" wheel that is the factory size to a 21" front and18" rear wheel
with that said, have any of you all noticed any difference in the handling of the bike once you went to a 21" front and 18" rear just due to the different tire size?

I went with the 21 inch front and stayed with a 16 inch rear... there was no noticeable difference in my opinion... I believe its a personal preference issue, it you like the look and are confident in your ability to ride the difference is negligible... Just my opinion...

Changed from a 19" wheel to 21" wheel, lowered the front suspension by abt 1" so the bike's frame sits more or less the same. Not change in handling, but then again a Harley Rocker is not exactly a throw around the corners racing bike....

2007 Fatboy, 120/70-21 in front, 200/55-17 in back. Low speed handling is heavy, otherwise handling is fine. Had a Softail Springer with an MH90-21 and the more narrow front tire seemed much lighter and quicker handling.

I'm running 33" Samson Fishtails on my 05' Deluxe. With the 21" on the frontend does it make your bike sit any lower in the back because you didn't jump up to the 18" rear tire? I guess what I'm saying is, does the your bike slope up back to front like a chopper? I don't want my fishtails to have a noticeable slope when looking at it or riding it. TIA!

Your only talking 3" difference 16"-21", it's not noticeable.
My 94 FXSTC came standard 16" rear 21" front.
Granted the rake is longer but that shouldn't matter.
And I lowered the rear. That only affected it when I had long pipes.
