RE: Need a 95 In kit, Self install
Every component effects every other component. I've found myself reading and learning everything I can about building a TCengine. While the $hit isn't magic, it can sure seem like it to the unknowing... I'm not going to piece my engine together, but if you know what you're doing I think it's a viable option.
From what I gather so far I know I want gear driven cams, adjustable pushrods, roller rocker arms, and some moderate head work. Head work in it'self is kind of mind blowing to me right now. There's just so much that goes into it. For example... Does the stock vacuum operated petcock really starve a stock motor? If so, your really going to have to add a pingel valveto the list. Not to mention carb(s), manifold, and ignition module. Maybe?
How bullet proof do you want your build? If I go to a higher than stock compression ratio I DO NOT want to have to worry about reliability and longevity. This is possible by strengtheningthe rest of the motor.
Sorry for not being more specific to a 95" build with money numbers. Just do your home work and make sure your components are compatible with each other if you peice it together. Good luck.

If you're pulling the heads you don't need adjustable pushrods.I'd go with a fixed pushrod, then you'll never have to worry about having to check it.I know they're pretty reliable, but you never know.I have a friend who still can't get his quite right.Yeah, I know, a million people will say there's nothing wrong with them, but you'll never hear someone say their fixed pushrods need adjusted.
