I bought the 1.75, no tin to them, then replaced with the 2inch baffles still no tin, cant go wrong with either one, the 2 inch is just a hair louder, can hardly tell the difference. As far as the neighbors go I roll the bike to the end of my driveway before I start up in the morning, if you dont go twist happy on the throttle its not bad.

Thanks everyone - these topics are still relevant and helped me in my decision to buy some Rush slip on.

Final question (from me anyway): for the 1.74 or 2.0 is there any modification/tuning required for the bike? I have a Deluxe and just wondering

Get the 2.0 if you don't love it right away you will. If you just do the pipes then you should be ok if the air filter is also done then yes you need fuel management. I would do it anyway as it will run cooler and better

If you go with the 1.75's you likely won't have to do any remapping. Go with the 2's and you probably will. Most who go with the 2"s start geting decel popping. I did so installed a PCIII with custom map and Ness Big Sucker air cleaner to clear up the popping. My husband has the 1.75's on his Road King and has not had to make any adjustments and his bike runs great. There is very little difference in sound, at least in my opinion, between the 1.75's and the 2's. The 2's are just maybe a tad louder.

Had them since 1k checkup. have put 15k on them and repacked at 14k, last fall. Just deep rumble no tinny sound.
I just put in cams last month and after hearing and studying the dyno sheets of all the V&H's, and others I decided to leave the Rush2" on.
Not sorry 1 bit, you can get a little better peak #'s with other systems but not the deep rumble that the Rush makes, and when steady on the throttle they just rumble good, they only get really loud when you get on it and rpm's goes up.
so putting around town shouldn't get U in trouble unless U wind it out.
Also I gained 7hp and 3#'s of tq when I did stage 1 with them, SERT,SE/ac, and dynoed over base run

The cams really deepened them more and they hit harder, still not ver much louder than pre-cams.
Checkout the dynos for softails, 1st post for my dynos sheets on them, I have base run and after stage1 and cams compare in that post.
They really do pretty decent for slip ons.
