Default rear fender

I am going to try to put a 07 Springer rear fender on my 07 Fatboy. The dealer said it would work. Anyone tried this??

I believe someone on here put an 07 fatboy rear fender on a 07 softail. So i assume your swap would work too.

Anything will fit if you're willing work at it hard enough, as for the two fenders the holes in the struts/fenders are not in the same locations but a little drilling and some tough up paint should resolve that.

The rear fender shouldn't be a problem. I put an '06 Fatboy fender on my '02 Night Train. The only difference is the wiring harness (FB taillight is lower)- that only took a few minutes to make work. One of these days (maybe) I'll just order a FB rear wiring harness.
