Default Best Tires for Softail Breakout

I’ve been doing some research on tires for the Breakout and I’ve come to find that the stock tires are not great at all. Has anybody found a certain brand or size that preform better then the stock ones? Any advice will be very appreciated.

On my Springer, I've run stock ,Avon's and MC2's and based on how I ride and also how I keep track of tire wear, I've gotten more bang for my buck with the MC2"s.

I would try a Shinko , Stealth OO3 looks like a good fit for a Breakout . And it won’t break the bank .

I've been use in Avon's for 18 years , used the avon Venom and now use in Avon Cobra's . I get about 10K on the Rear and 12 on the front.

The stock tires are fine by me. Besides, it not like the Breakout is a canyon carver anyways.

Avons are good, also Metzler has the wider tyres (you can probably fit a 260 on the break out with out mods, same as on the Rocker)

Metzeler 888's ... what are the pro's/ con's or trade offs between:

100/90-19,
110/90-19, and
130/60-19 (which I believe is the stock OEM size)

The speed and load ratings all appear to be similar and pricing is about $30 different.

Is there much difference in handling or control?

Metzeler 888.....260 on the rear and 120/70 on the front. IMHO best tire combo you can get for the BO

Hi,
i have 2017 HD Breakout cvo, which has 18 inch rear wheel and 19 inch in the front. I would like to put 260mm in the rear, but i do not know which size should i put in the front. I see many people talking about 120/70 in the front, but i think this is for the 21 inch wheel?? So what is the good front tire size for my bike if i want to put 260mm in the rear?

Thoughts
