Was going to order a laydown licence plate frame / holder for my 07 fatty from the US as I do with most of my bits but am unsure as to whether the dimensions of our actual number plates are the same?

Anybody know of have the dimensions of theirs so I can compare?

Also if anybody has the link to or a part number of any nice looking licence plate holder to suit an 07 fatty then please let me know. Thanks.

Cant speak for Oz but in the UK the license plate size is not the same as the US ( I would suggest that this would be the same in Oz)
In the UK there are online companies that make up plates both for UK and US sizes - I just had one made up to US size specs.

US standard size is 7 x 4 inches.

There must be companies in Oz that do the same thing.

I have p.n 60051-01, just have to drill some new holes in the licence plate, old holes are hidden by the frame.

Looks great, easy to install and fits our plates down under.

You'd be surprised how little they keep in stock here. Most of the stuff at dealers they order from the US and then take twice as long and charge twice as much as if you bought it from the US yourself

Is that the laydown bracket and surrounding fram that says "Harley Davidson" or just the bracket that changes the angle of the plate?

I like my Kuryakyn because it gives extra bling and safety of a extra running light with daytime running lights and extra brake light also, you can never be to careful especialy in heavy traffic, I found this light in the J&P CATALOG at $139.95 U.S., also I saw other license plate frame mounts for 2 to 3 times of what I paid for mine, it has 36 L.E.D. red lights, and on bottom row 10 Blue L.E.D. lights, so to me it looks cool at night and day too!! PURPLE HAZE.
