Default Cat in muffler or head pipe.

I just got a used 2016 Slim . Is the cat in the muffler or head pipe. I would like to remove the cat . I have been in bad shape and I'm getting closer to working again. I would like to do something to add flow and make a bit more noise. I think buy August I should have the $ to get new slip ons. Anything I can do until then to give them a little more flow.

This Thread is a bit dead so far. I have the mufflers off and looks like the cat is in the very front of the muffler. I'm going to drill a 1/2" hole all the way through to the other and. I hope this will give it a little more sound until I can afford new slip-ons. If I can pull this off

Honestly I would wait until you get the slipons. The sound will annoy you trust me.

Drilling a 1/2" hole will only give you a loud popping sound. I've tried it on a couple bikes. Try to save up for some slip on muffers.
