RE: how many use windshields
Good point about a place to stash stuff...I am always putting stuff ahead of risers when mine is on (usually). Most of the time it doesn't even need to be bungeed. I would really miss that benefit. My wife (1200C) and I (05 Deuce) both have quick detachables but they are seldom off...cold is not an issue here on Gulf Coast....but way less effort to ride at anything over 50 or so.I have never personally seen a bike that looked better with a windshield than without (maybe a Goldwing?), but tradeoff is worth it day to day. I rode for 35+ years before I ever even tried one...now my arms are slowly returning to prestretched length...of course biceps and abs are not doing well. The link below in signaturehas more pictures of both bikes w and w/o windshields. RE: how many use windshields
Never had one before, just picked up my first one this spring for the Sportster and fell in love with it. As soon as I get the extra cash I'll be getting one for the Springer. With the windshield I'm more comfortable, meaning I can ride longer, which is the goal of having the bike.
