Default Sport Glide, risers and cables oh my...

Hello, I have a 2019 Sport Glide and wanted to get the 6" risers listed on the HD website listed as compatible for this bike.
But HD has no extension throttle or clutch cables for this so they will Not install them for you. What have any you done for this? Any recommendations where to get cable extensions? They also sell 4" risers and it's possible to use them without changing the cables (dealer will not do the install) but I want the 6".

Thanks

I installed both 6" and 4" curved but ended up keeping the 4".
The 6" only required a longer brake line like +3" to avoid rubbing against bottom of triple tree.
I didn't want to change the brake line so i returned the 6" and kept the 4".
For both of them you need to move the stock clutch cable in front of the handlebar instead of stock being behind

I only use my old pv for monitoring the temp and other things. I might get a license after my warranty runs out

how did you free up enough wire behind the triple tree? the harness seems very tight to me.

I did not need to, there was enough slack for both 4" and 6" risers.

I too installed the 4", plenty of wire and brake line. As stated above clutch cable in front of the bars.

Just picked up a 2019. What windshield do you have on your bike? That looks like a perfect size.

Thanks,

Ralph

Hey 14,

any more pics with that 5.5 windscreen? Does it help with the head buffeting? I’m 5’ 5” and thought about getting the Gustafsson 6” in dark bronze
Absolutely Love my Sportglide!

Thanks to those who chimed in re the risers.
I also have the 5” shield and maybe there’s some improvement but not enough for me. I’m also 5’ 5””.
