Default New bike for the wife

Ok, so a few years back we bought my wife a 2012 Softail Slim. Traded off her 883 Iron for it. She loved it. But, she also loved the Slim S with the Olive gold denim paint and of course, the 110SE lol! Well earlier this month, one of the guys that works for me said he was dealing with Carroll cycle here in Iowa and they gave him a killer trade in/deal on his 2018 RGS. He told me the had a 2017 Slim S on the floor. I called and yep they had one in the Olive Gold, and it was still brand new so factory warranty to boot! After some wheeling and dealing we both got where we wanted to be and long story short my wife is now the proud owner of a 2017 FLSS! She couldn't be happier with the bike, and I get to ride it too so bonus!

Default Something Old (1983 R80/ST) & Something New (2018 FLRT)

My wife and I are both retired. She has finally had to acknowledge that she’s not comfortable with her abilities on her two wheeler any more. She still has an interest in riding and that has been such a large part of our relationship over the years that we decided to go this route.

I bought her the BMW when we got back from our honeymoon in 1983. Our anniversary is this month. I think a trike is the appropriate gift for 35 years. Isn’t it?
