Not sure if this has been covered before. I find it very hard to come across second hand evo seats, plenty of twin cam ones around. I'm after a fatboy evo seat to put on a heritage. I wonder if any of you have tried modify the later model seats to fit on a evo frame . Any help / advice much appreciated.

 

My '94 FLSTN came with what was a Fatboy seat, except it was covered in gray/black upholstery. It was also the most uncomfortable seat I've had on a motorcycle. The seams on the top of the saddle are right where you sit on the saddle, and after two hours you'll be able to count every stitch with your butt. I replaced it with a Mustang solo seat and never would go back.

I recommend almost anything else if you're actually going to ride the bike.
