Interesting. I found this on eBay. $25 of cheap Chinese manufacturing. However it does look pretty perfect. Aluminum, so no rust, i’d probably have it properly powder coated just for the hell of it, but for the price I don’t think it can be beat...
I’m only wondering if the top edge mount of the plate would cause it to sag or bend under the constant bumping around.
But looking more closely at it, it looks like it would hit the tire under hard bumps (not uncommon here in the land of **** road NY) clearance looks too tight.
..Steel really? I would have bet it was plastic. Interesting. I’m wondering if it may be worth it, but isn’t the UK/EU plate dimension very different from the US plate? If I could make it work, I’d be willing to pay what’s necessary.
