Default Harley Oil Cooler

I just bought a Harley oil cooler and the instruction say to glue the external cover on with a $60 sealer. What have you all successfully used in place of that recommended sealer. The Harley Dealer recommended JB weld, But JB weld is good stuff but I really don't feel comfortable using it to glue on the cover. I think it needs something more flexible.

Glue the cover on? Which HD oil cooler do you have?

If that is the case, you can either use an adhesive or a tape.

Adhesive :
E6000 industrial adhesive E6000 industrial adhesive

Tape :
3M double sided tape 3M double sided tape
