Does anyone have experience moving to a larger brake rotor and caliper for the 2018 Heritage? When riding aggressive, I'd like more of a margin of safety, particularly when slowing down rapidly at highway speed.
Not sure if anyone even makes a caliper for a larger rotor. I just don't know. But it would be far more cost effective to buy a better than stock floating rotor and more aggressive compound pads. I would call Lyndall and EBC and see what they have And recommend.
John Maxwell mentioned something in one of his latest videos about having to be very careful about "upgrading" brakes on '18 bikes if you have ABS. All the Harley parts have been designed to work together, and changing them can mess up the ABS.
