Default 2018 vs. 2019 Fat Bob

What differences do you spot between the 2018 and 2019 Fat Bob?

If what I'm reading is correct, all of the 2019 models now come with a "narrow primary cover." Didn't the 2018 Fat Boy and Fat Bob (and others?) come with the wide primary cover? Are there any internal differences in the primary or is it JUST the cover?

Do you guys spot any other differences (besides color options)?

Chris

I think the differences are purely aesthetic. You can purchase the narrow-profile primary cover (as well as the dominion style cover) from H-D's website now for the 2018 models.

Is there a difference? Haha, not worth 'upgrading'

LOL. I honestly didn’t mean that.

Im just curious if anyone notices any changes. The narrow primary cover being standard is the only thing I notice.

I don't think the '18 Fat Bob has the wide primary. I think that only applies to the 240mm tire models, the Breakout and Fat Boy.

As far as differences between the '18 and '19, I don't see any. The only difference that I specifically checked on was gas tank size, I thought there was a chance they may have increased the tank size on the '19 because the '18 is so small, but they didn't even change that.

The narrow primary was exclusive to the Sport Glide last year.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure myself. I guess enough people complained about the wide primary cover.

I don't think that's accurate. There was discussion about narrow vs wide primary before the Sport Glide was introduced. Here is an example:
