please bare with me on the noob question

Just trying to figure out which one I need. Looking at getting the PC III, and saw that there are 2 models. The PC III USB and PC III USB EX.

For a FLSTCI (heritage softail classic) with Big Boar 95", SE dual cross over exhaust (and SE mufflers) and SE Air Cleaner for street use (non racing) I should go for the PC III USB EX, right??

A little addition to the above:

or am I loosing some of the control with the EX model, ie low end tuning? Not really sure what the difference is exactly, but sort of have the feeling that the California ARB Regulation are effing me here.

so should I just go for the PC USB III (racing one)??

Ex is for meeting california ARB requirements, we all use the race tuner, PC3 USB.

 

Kind of what I was starting to get the impression reading through everything about the PC III
