Default Oil Filter relocation

Anyone relocated the oil filter on a Softail Deluxe (with ABS)? If so, can you suggest an appropriate vendor and kit please.

It might be possible, but here are some pictures of the DK kit installed on a '17 Street Glide w/H-D oil filter. You be the judge.

Looks good Furry.
One question: any chance that could scrape the pavement? I am assuming not because it sits closer to the frame. However, although not frequent, I have scraped the footboards while turning. ANd it could happen again. Any thoughts?

The way our kit is designed, tucked in and up high under the passenger floorboard, the rider floorboard and exhaust will scrap before the oil filter has a chance to.

Take a look at this pic for reference. This is Devin(the D in "DK) on his Street Glide during testing of the oil filter relocation. You can see the oil filter sits higher than the exhaust and rider floorboard-

For reference, this is a DK Custom kit on my '09 Heritage. It doesn't have ABS though.

Ok I will chime in ... I did install a relocation kit on a bike with abs... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...ion-kit-2.html the kit I used is from 3 guyz. It has the same filter mount but a different cap that mounts on the bike.. The big problem is of course the ABS Read the post by me swifty . You will read the problems you will run into and How a solved them. Btw I love the relocation kit. and my friend did it to his bike as well... good luck swifty

Ok thanks swiftly!
Before I read your post, I had already ordered the DKCustoms kit. Hopefully that will work for me.
I will have to install the filter bracket below the abs. I have the extra long S69 k&n filter. It will be interesting to see how it goes. Plus, I am also worried about the clamps being able to support the weight of the longer filter (more oil than stock).
I will use the blue thread locker on the screws that connect the filter bracket to the frame. But I am not sure what threadlocker to use for the hose on the brass barbs. If you can suggest, that'll be great.
