Default Just installed V&H Short Shots on 18’ Fat Bob - Question on passenger peg

Hey all,

As the title states, I just installed V&H Short Shots on my 18’ Fat Bob. I had to remove the stock bracket that holds the exhaust and rear passenger peg. However, after installing the new pipes, I see no way of putting the rear passenger peg back on in any way. Was there some sort of relocation kit that I was supposed to purchase? I don’t know if I’m just exhausted or just plain dumb but I don’t see how I can reinstall it! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Oh, and here’s a pic of the new set up. 🤘

The black plastic plug just north of the swingarm pivot...pull that out, and bolt the passenger peg bracket there.

Problem is, the bracket isn’t for just the peg on my fat bob. The bracket is one piece that holds the peg and exhaust so it’s huge and doesn’t fit in any way into that plug screw hole. Any suggestions?

The bracket isn't one piece, take the peg of and there is a bolt under it that holds the footpeg support.

You will also have to move the peg on the left side to the same location on the left, otherwise your passenger will have one peg higher than the other.

I’m in the same situation. This is what I came up with.
