Passed the MSF Advanced Rider Safety Course on the 07 Fatboy
passed the Advanced Rider Course for the MSF (motorcycle safety foundation) ... this is the 2nd course where you ride your own bike. I took the 07 Fatboy thru. man can it be a pig in tight turns !!! that 200 rear just doesnt want to roll over easy...
took this a few years ago on my Hayabusa Sportsbike and it was much easier.
I had problems do the figure 8 U-Turns during the test. Passed with 4 points to spare ... (sheeewww)
said I was the fastest thru the trap on the swerve test of our group. was too slow the first run so I gave it I guess a little more gas the next time

Congratulations! I'm taking the basic course next week to fast-track my license endorsement, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Good to know you can put the Fat Boy through the paces, that gives me some encouragement.

Congrats! I was thinking about trying that course one day on my Deuce in hopes of learning more. You can never learn too much. My wife just took the Beginner course about a month ago, so I might wait for her to get some time in on her bike and take the course together.

I definitely recommend taking the advance course on your harley. its not the skills but knowing how your bike will handle.
The Fatboy tended to throw the weight forward in a hard quick stop to the point the rear tire would lock up easily. so its good to know when I use that 75% front braking that I may end up locking up the rear and not be surprised.
it happened only a few times on the straight line braking from 20 miles per hour but it was nice to know how the bike would handle. Smoked a little rear tire It is TONS different then those little 125 or 250s you use when you take the 1st MSF course.
They say to take the course at the beginning of riding season as it normally sticks for 6 months. if you wait until fall (unless you can ride year round). you will forget alot by Spring.
