Driver Backrest for FXSTC Stock Seat

Driver Backrest for FXSTC Stock Seat
Has anyone been able to find a driver backrest that will fit the stock seat on an '07 Softail Custom? I really like the stock seat for both butt comfort and looks and don't want to buy a new one just for the backrest. The seat has a slot all the way through between the driver and passenger pillows. I would be willing to buy one and make modifications to it if it was close.

I saw the backrest on the Zanotti website, but the HD website only shows the entire Signature seat. HD doesn't list a part number for the backrest on their website. Are you sure that the backrest will work with the stock seat, or will it only work with the Signature seat?

I got the Backrest and its just that... a backrest, it apparently needs an underseat mounting bracket to connect into. I assumed it all came together.
I dont have a clue what I need now.
I cant attach pics here, but I posted them here....in post #6

The backrest looks like it should work. The trick is going to be finding the rightmount or at least being able to modify one so it will bolt to the fender under the seat. There are a lot of different mounts in the Harley catalog, surely one will work. I hope you can figure it out, and then let me know what you did.

My local HD dealers were no help at all.
Tuesday evening I spent about 4 hours building a prototype underseat mounting bracket that worked very well.
It also uses the already existing holes in the fender to mount.
